Recent years have seen a rapid increase in the requirement for agricultural, water storage reservoirs.
Lancaster Earthmoving Ltd has built several reservoirs ranging from 11 million to 200 million gallons.
We can offer a design service in accordance with current legislation, for either a clay lined / cored structure or a membrane lined structure, dependant upon site conditions.

Canada Farm Reservoir was one of two large clay blanket lined reservoirs constructed on Elveden Estates near Thetford. This structure covered some 9 Hectares and was built using locally won sand, lined with boulder clay.
Installation of overflow systems and erosion protection was included.
Built in 1998/9, it holds 200 million gallons when full to capacity.

Bromeswell Reservoir in Suffolk was constructed using a lining of a plastic membrane, protected with an inner sand lining.
Similarly, many other reservoir contracts have been completed, with Lancaster Earthmoving Ltd acting as the Principle Contractor.
